Lends those skills outsourcing to govt IIW. If I ever go freelance to raise our kids, run the blog (hopefully blogs!) i'll do short term contracts in my professions working for my current employer. The money is really good.

@Forest & Justin, Glad you guys like it!
@Kevin- You're unlocked from spam jail. Don't give up on being a freelancer because of what I said about the rates (I probably negotiate more than the average bear ). And depending on what skillset you bring to the table you can certainly make more than $17/hour. That happens to be the going rate I've found for remote developers in Eastern Europe. Of course along with that there's a certain amount of extra time that must be applied micro-managing and communicating properly with those folks. U.S. based resources can get paid a premium for obvious reasons.
