and purchased my own domain name! Any tips for how to navigate my RSS feed, etc. over? Do any of you know what this will do to my Alexa ratings and/or page ranks? I'm still hosting through Blogger for now, so I'm hopeful that everything will work itself out. Thanks for any info you can provide!

Congrats on the move! I will let someone else talk about the transition. Alexa doesn't transfer, but it will drop in no time. Good luck. Let me know if you need anything.

All of your rankings reset, which is why it's best to do it as early as possible, but still a great move on your part. Congrats on taking a huge step forward!

If you were on blogger, your feed should be through Feedburner. You will just need to login and burn your new feed which should be at NEWURL.com/feed into feed burner and then redirect your Wordpress feed to the Feedburner feed.
This is a good resource that I used when I made the switch http://www.labnol.org/internet/switch-from-blogger-to-wordpress/9707/
