So I noticed today I was getting some decent referral traffic from Money Crashers, I followed the link and found out why… they finally decided to add me to their blog list…only took me 5 requests. They also haven't updated my stats, so Im sitting at the very top of the list with all of my N/A rankings LOL….which is presumably why Im getting the traffic.

Funny how missing data can work in your favour for once. Congrats to you. I seem to hover around the same range. Eventually I should improve on their list.

It's a pretty well traffic PF site. They have the ranking system that ranks personal finance blogs using a variety of factors including page rank, mozRank, Alexa rank, Twitter followers, subscribers, etc. It can add some traffic the higher you are.

@20andengaged – thanks! I visit their blog quite often, but I have never seen a list of all members. I have noticed that several blogs have their logo, with current ranking.

Congrats on making the top PF blogs list over at Money Crashers; hopefully they'll take their time updating your stats.

I actually noticed that. I assumed it was similar to a sponsored ad on google and you were forking over mad money for the top spot.

I've been buried down in the third page since this was established. I'm not all that familiar with some of the things that they use as inputs, specifically the one that tells you the dollar amount that your site (or an ad block, or something along those lines) is worth. For whatever reason (most likely because I'm on Blogger) I'm really, really low. I guess maybe I should spend some time to improve it, but quite honestly, I didn't think it would give me a bump enough to warrant the work, as I sort of figure that if you're not 'first page' you're probably not going to get any meaningful traffic.

haha they have sent me into exile somewhere amongst the high 200's… such is life. I enjoyed the traffic for a bit though…who knows, maybe a loyal reader came out of it!

I too am in the 200's and I never seem to change much. Not sure why though since every other stat tracker I look at is getting better.

I am in the 100s, but I don't get any traffic though. I figured unless I am in the top 50, I won't get any good traffic. But if someone is purposely looking for a new blog to read, they might look beyond the top 100…

I was looking through their list, and I think Sam is the highest Yakezie member… and maybe only him and one other Yakezie that broke 100 I think. In any regard, it will be quite some time before anyone finds me on that list LOL
