We started our blog in late January, and joined Yakezie a month later.
Currently we get about 30-50 viewers a day.
I spend about 3hrs/day writing, reading, commenting etc. I enjoy it, so it's definitely more of a hobby than a job – which is a good thing because we've made less than $4 from the blog!

As with any endeavor of value, there is no substitute for putting in the time and networking. My mantra is hard work and patience.

Beginning a blog is one of the least satisfying experiences I have ever been a part of. That being said, the payout at the end is easily worth it. I always say that the beginning feels like you are "blogging into a blackhole" and that no one will ever read or find all this content you are putting so much work into. It will come, just keep plugging away. I probably spend about 1.5-2 hours a day on my blog doing the various activities commonly associated.

I started my blog about 6 weeks ago and now have about 50 visitors per day. I write on hubpages and tweet to increase traffic. I am still trying to figure all this out. Until today I didn't even know what a Twitter hashtag was. I got started blogging after I came across aselfsufficientlife.com. It inspired me to give blogging a try. The blogs of the members of this site look so much better than mine. I know that I have to work on the presentation of my site. I put about 3 hours per day into blog related activities. I am overwhelmed by all the stuff I need to learn, but try to learn one new thing about blogging per day and take it one day at a time.

Great to hear these numbers from other folks.. I have been wondering about that..
My wife and I blog together on See Debt Run, and between the two of us– we probably put in 2 hours daily.
The site is almost 2 months old, and we range between 70-100 visitors daily.
Hopefully we will be up there in the Daisy/Aloysa range in a few months..
Of course, by then– they may be in the GRS range.. :)

A lot of it depends on when you join Yakezie. I waited six months to join Yakezie so my initial traffic was extremely low.
