This is not a rant, but it is a HAPPY DANCE!
After less than 7 weeks participating in the Yakezie Challenge my Alexa Ranking for today has officially dropped under 200,000.
It is at 194,747.

Yes, I think it has helped. I didn't run it well, meaning I should have had actions that resulted more in subscribers.
My average daily page views has grown by 30% since the contest.
Honestly, when the contest was running it was easy to see that there are contest hunters (there are even Giveaway blogs) who only come for one reason – the Giveaway. If I can figure out a way to turn them in to "evangelists" for the blog, I will do a giveaway at least quarterly.
I also want to see more revenue coming in before I run another contest.
