I signed up and started on the challenge on January 16th, and as of today have dropped under 400K (384,414).
Something tells me the easy part is behind me.
For those who have been this way before, what can you suggest for me to continue improving the Alexa score?

More commenting! Use the blogrolls of your normal destinations to find sites you've never been to. Double your efforts. You are making good progress.

Good work Thad. Yes the easy Alexa progress is behind you, but you're doing something right to make that progress. Just keep up what you're doing. You could try expanding your social media connections. Perhaps add a link from your blog homepage to your twitter & facebook.

That's great! I don't know if the easy part is over, I've dropped by 5-15K every day since I hit 400K. But not by hundreds like before that. Definitely connect with other bloggers, comment on other blogs (I make a goal to find a new blog that I like every day – but I'm crazy like that and my reader is huge because of it), add other blogs to your blog roll, tweet, write great content, etc.
I'm not an expert but all of those things seem to be working for me!

Those are great encouragements! My Google Reader is huge, but it certainly puts all the blogs I want to follow in a single place. I am down to 367,657 today, so something seems to be working.
