Friendly reminder if you haven't already done so to check your copyright year on your posts and your footer. Still seeing a lot of 2013 out there :)

Good reminder! I was excited to start changing mine. Another place to check is on your site's footer. Most auto update, but it depends on how your site is set up.

You shouldn't have to use that. Just use the PHP code for year.
Put this and the current year will display:
<?php echo date('Y'); ?>

Thank you for putting that in there Eric. It is very easy to do inside the template files. If you have any questions about this, just reach out. Not all themes have this coded properly.

Every year I pledge not to forget and guess what happens every time? Yep, I forget. Thanks Money Beagle.

Hey thanks for the reminder! One question- is it weird that my site has two copyrights on it? I'm using the Prose Theme on Genesis Framework so there's a copyright for that on my site and then I put up my own copyright for my content.

You don't need two copyrights. Just one copyright implies it is for the content. The line on the bottom is an advertisement for your theme, not a copyright for your theme.
