Using Aweber for RSS + newsletters

To those in the know…

Can Aweber be easily integrated with your RSS feed? I know that Aweber allows your to send custom newsletters and whatnot to your subscribers — unlike FeedBurner, which just picks your posts and send them out.

Is it possible to essentially combine the two so your e-mail subscribers get all your posts but you also have the flexibility of sending out separate newsletters, too?

Yes, I currently use Aweber to email my feed; but I also have the option to send out a customized communication as well.

I've heard rumors that Feedburner RSS might be dropped by Google. IF that's the case, then Aweber like services will surely benefit.

Mailchimp does not feed into feedburners numbers, fyi. I still use them anyway, though.

I also use MailChimp. Heard great things about Aweber, but for my list size and needs, MailChimp does everything I want and it is free.

There are a lot of rumors going around about this, but I'd be shocked if it actually happened. FeedBurner fits well with the Google business model (to the extent that content publishers help to power their ad network) so, while I don't expect to see much in the way of investment in new features, I'd be shocked if they didn't at least keep it alive in its current form.

I wouldn't think it would make sense to drop it.  Everybody offers RSS and Feedburner is by and large the biggest delivery method of this.  I would think if they did 'drop' it they would do some sort of a redirect as they rolled out a replacement.
