I was contacted by three talk shows in the past few months. Now I am curious to see if anyone else was contacted by them (those talk shows' producers were performing a massive search this summer.) This is my experience. If you were contacted, do you mind sharing your experience?

I was contacted once by a Canadian radio talk show. Funny, as I'm living in Chicago.
Anyway, they left a message, so I called back. The producer asked me about the Squirreling Gone Wild series, and all the things she apparently thought I personally did to save money. When I told her that many of those stories were about other people, her interest seemed to fizzle. Never heard back, which was fine with me.

I've been on a radio talk show. I was contacted this summer by producers for a new reality show that is going to be on Discovery. They left a message on my phone and sounded really interested in talking to me. When I called back, the guy didn't seem interested at all and said he would have someone call me, but that never happened.

I've been on a few radio shows in the States. All of them were a result of 1 article that The Consumerist picked up.
