What happens when you become a Yakezie Member ?

Its been 2 months since I joined Yakezie as a challenger and it has helped immensely. My Alexa rank is now 105K.

I have met an awesome staff writer (Melissa@momsplans.com), soon Ashley @moneytalkscoaching.com will be helping me with guest posting and such, and of course Crystal @ BudgetingIntheFunstuff is getting me more advertisers.

Its been a great journey for me so far.

This brings me to my question: What happens when you become a Yakezie Member ?

I would love you hear from the members about their experiences when they got upgraded to 'Member' status. This will give us Challengers something to look forward to.

As it's been said before, once you gain access to the private forums, you gain a lot more clarity towards the theme of the Yakezie.  That being said, I may get a few more referrals on my site from the blog network list each day, other than that it's the same helpful people that I networked with as a challenger.  Though I will say that in the end, the member badge, the blog list, all of it, was just a nice "feel good" accomplishment for the hard work I put in over the months.

The biggest part of the challenge is weeding out the ones who won't be around in 6 months etc… we have a strong network of people to rely on and trust…  I dont know that I couldve had ANY success with my blog without all of them.

When you become a member you really get a good sense for how strong the Yakezie community is. Mostly because we've been building relationships for 6 months or more.

Like Justin said, the 6 months is great for weeding out those who are in it just for what they can get. The only challengers who make it to member status are the ones who are in it for what they can give.

As a member you get to become a part of the creative process with Yakezie and continue supporting your fellow bloggers. It's great!

I love that last sentence–completely why I'm part of this community now!

I agree with everything that has been said so far.  I was so excited to see the other side of Yakezie once I became a member.  Plus, you get to give back more when you are a member.  I also felt like I got to know more about other bloggers once I had access to the private forums.

Congrats on your Alexa drop!  It is an exciting feeling isn't it?

The "Caramello" is the closest thing I have had to Caramilk bar (we used to get it in India). Caramilk is the Cadbury Dairy Milk with caramel. In US, Hershey's has the permission/patent/whatever it is to make them and they have a not-so-famous caramello bar, but it is just not the same :)

I haven't heard 'Caramello' since I left Australia 11 years ago. They were so good. Caramel filled chocolete envelopes, of pur deliciousness. Ahhhh Cadbury chocolate, so good.

Just curious: When American blogs are viewed on Canadian browsers, do you see American English, or the Queens English?

Thanks Miss T. I hope that wasn't a stupid question. I thought perhaps that the browsers would auto correct, like a language translator.
