Ok guys,
For myslef, I just code my advertising blocks into the code myself, etc. But for newbies what do you think is the best Banner Advertising plugin for WordPress. I'm thinking of programs like MaxBanner Ads etc. Only problem with that one is it doesn't put ads into content, and you have to put up with all their email hype.
I'm defintely looking for an ad plugin where it puts ads into posts where you want to put ads,not the standard at the top of the post or random locations in the post etc.
Cheers!

I'm using Quick Adsense (can be used for more than adsense) as well as Who Sees Ads. Some ads I just code myself.

For Edward Antrobus I'm using AdSense Extreme. It will enforce the no-more-than-3-ads rule for AdSense, and you can set up to 8 different ad units that can each get a different style, channel, or even AdSense ID. It then lets you decide how many and where to put the ads in posts and on the homepage. There is also a widget to put ads in your sidebar.
For If You Can Read, You Can Cook, my needs are a lot simpler and I just have AdSense Now! Lite.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

I use quick adsense plugin and it seems to work well, does the same as the mentioned by Edward. I'm sure there are differences, I just don't know enough about it yet, but I can say for a beginner, Quick Adsense allowed me to achieve my goal when others had let me down or was just too complicated for whatever reason.

I like Adsense Optimizer. Love it, in fact.

Yah that's the problem with many of these plugins, they can be a tad complicated and there is an "all or none" aspect to the setting instead of individual ad control. The one problem I see is NO ability to insert ads where you want them via the "visual" editor instead of the "html" editor.
BTW I just LOVE your logo!
