I mentioned a couple days ago that I'm getting ready to launch a line of taco seasonings. This is going to be my first "real" launch. In the past, I've just put something out without fanfare and eventually money starts to trickle in. This time I want to do it right.
Is there a day that seems to work better for a launch than others? Do more people click on say, a Friday than a Monday? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

today is always the best day to start a new thing. Sound philosophical?

I haven't the slightest clue about taco seasonings, but Monday always seems like the cleanest launch day – that's just me :)

Haha. Is taco seasonings some kind of euphemism? I say worry less about what day to do it and just take the plunge. Even if certain days are better for some people, that doesn't mean that will apply to you.

I agree with Monday just because it's the start of a new week. But I have no idea which day would be best to launch. Try researching companies that have recently launched seasonings and see what day they chose.

It's not about the day to launch. It's about the efforts that you put into marketing it continuously with the right customer base. You have to prepare a launch so that it would have lots of eyes when it goes live.
We're launching another website and we've learned from the mistakes of my existing one. We marketed for 3 months and it's going live in 30 days. We're aiming to have 1500 visitors that first day who are anxious to see what it looks like. I picked a specific day to launch to match with a business speech at a conference.

Wouldn't it be best to launch taco seasonings on the day of Cinco de Mayo (May 5), no offense to the holiday but wouldnt it be a good time in.
Am i off base?

Now may be the best time to launch, but I'm not ready now. Likewise, I'll be mising Cinco de Mayo. The earliest possible date I could be ready is the 15th. There are just some things that are out of my hands as far getting the necessary elements in place.
The two days of the week that made the most sense to me are Monday and Friday; there have been two votes for Monday and none for Friday, so it seems like I'll be launching on May 21.
@Money and Risk: I don't have any way of generating anywhere near that much attention, but I am doing what I can.
