Hi my friends,
I have been thinking lately that while during the last couple of years I have build myself to be a half decent writer, I am still a fairly mediocre blogger. You all know that my thing is learning and one option is 'learning from other people'. So here it goes:
What in your opinion makes a remarkable blogger?

Good question Maria.
I think it takes consistently original (first-handed) content. The old chestnut of adding value, but doing it a LOT.
It's so tough to achieve, but those that can, and do, will stand out as remarkable.

This is something I've contemplated too, because I know I'm not a good blogger. I think it's a combination of giving the reader real value + the ability to connect with readers on a personal level + good, entertaining writing. Many try, few succeed.

I think Kurt is right on. If you look at successful bloggers like JD and Mr Money Mustache, you will see that they made a connection with their readers. They put their readers first and we should all try to do that.
You should know your audience too.

Definitely…I think a "good blogger" is simply one that writes material that interests and engages the reader. We have a tendency to get too caught up in the different rankings and stats that are out there to determine our success, when really our success should be viewed with how many readers we're able to honestly engage with.
