Do you use google analytics or wordpress stats to show to your readers and advertisers? For some reason, google analytics always shows me less readers than wordpress stats.

Google Analytics is the web standard for content-oriented sites. Ecommerce analytics vary but I guess that wasn't the question.
Bottomline: Google analytics over Wordpress stats any day of the week.

Google Analytics is what I use, and is the standard from what I understand. I think it's assumed by most that if you're an established blogger showing stats, you're referring to GA.

GA!
all other stats I have used were not as accurate and as complete (pages viewed, time, keywords, etc).

I used to use my webhost stats, but they are severely inflated! Google Analytics is what I depend on. Seems quite accurate.

GA doesn't need any more support :) but I will add my vote too. And even the advertisers trust GA much more than anything else.

I like sitemeter for the real-time factor, and it ends up being fairly close to Google's numbers (although the difference is probably due to my admin stuff).
Now, I will admit to knowing nothing about algorithms and such, but shouldn't a visit to a page be a visit to a page? I mean, I can understand how rankings differ based on specific criteria, but I have a heck of a time understanding how Wordpress has different traffic stats from Google, and Google reports different numbers from Bing. A click on a link is a click on a link and landing on a page is a visit no matter how you look at it. Isn't it?

I use Google Analytics. I wish that I could use something else, but GA is so much better than any other free analytics package that I have used and it keeps getting better.
