On a lot of sites that sell ebooks I've seen a lot of great 3D images of book covers and was wondering if anyone knows a quick and easy way to produce one of these images. Is there any special software specifically for this or do I have to figure it out in PhotoShop, which I am not very proficient with.
I know some of you have great examples of these images on your sites so whatever advice you can give would be awesome.

I'll admit, I'm not proficient at 3D. I believe they are generally just done with image editing software and skill.
Personally, I'm more of a traditionalist. I like my ebook covers looking like book covers.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Fiverr.com. $5 and you'll have a decent looking cover.

Jason, If you do have photoshop its surprisingly simple and automated. I prefer to do it this way rather than a designer so that you can tweak it to look exactly as you want with little fuss. Do a search on "free actionscript ebook cover" (actionscripts are essentially Photoshop macros). Then you open up your image in Photoshop, follow directions to run the actionscript and walla, ebook cover!
