I'm thinking of moving the position of the search bar in my blog's sidebar. Do you guys prefer to place your search bar "above the fold" or below the fold?

I tend to prefer them above the fold, but that's just me. I feel like someone's not going to spend a lot of time on your site searching for the search box so they can search for something.
(I heard you like searches)

I keep mine just below the fold. No particular reason other than most experts say that the sub form should be at the top of the side bar, which pretty much leaves the search box to hide out right below it

Mine is in my navigation bar right below the header.

Mine is at the top above the fold so it is most accessible. That seems to be what the big sites do.

I have one at the top right… and I'm not sure if others use it, but I sure find it helpful myself!
