Hello. I am a super newbie to Yakezie and to blogging. I've been thinking about starting a blog for about the past six months. I would get serious…and then not…serious again…and then not. Just recently I said what the h#ll and I just "did it". I went all in (well, at least from my perspective). check out my blog at http://www.midlifemiser.com I would LOVE feedback, ideas, and suggestions.
Anyway, I just came across Yakezie tonight and decided to join. This forum looks like an awesome place to learn, grow, share, etc.. I cant wait to read more about how to increase traffic to my blog, how to write better posts, how to maximize SEO, how to come up with post ideas…..and probably stuff I haven't even thought about.
Any ideas, tips, suggestions, or links on where a new blogger should start will be GREATLY appreciated.

There's a search feature (with tons of info) and you can always post a new thread. Network with other blogs and you will be amazed how fast things happen. You might want to get the Alexa toolbar and also get Alexa rank for your site. Pretty easy to set up. Check out http://www.alexa.com/

It may take a day or 2 or 3 or 4 to get the initial ranking. Don't sweat it.

Welcome! Just a note of advice. Don't make the same mistake I did. Focus on building up your blog, and leave all the secondary stuff like finding advertisers, doing seo to someone else.
