Just curious.
Also, if you use Pinterest or Instagram can you respond with those links. I'm curious how PF bloggers are using them. Trying to decide whether to invest the time in learning a new site that I don't already use for fun.
Thanks,
Toni

For me it's twitter everyday, sending biggest chunk of social traffic, then facebook and pinterest. I never used instagram.

Twitter and pinterest are two big ones for Couple Money. What's surprising to me is that I'm horrible with Pinterest. I keep forgetting to use it. I've tried to be more aware of my photo selections to make pins more visually appealing, but I haven't done anything special to promote posts through them.

Twitter all the way. I've tried with FB and G+ but could never attract subscribers or get views. I think FB promotes or hides posts, and unless you have a ton of time to dedicate, you won't crack through the positive side of that wall.

In general, my social networking is lacking, but I would have to agree with the others: Twitter. I am working to grow my follower base as well and hope to be over 2,000 soon.

A month ago I would have said Twitter. But I went to FinCon and attended a session on how to use Pinterest. I used to get barely any traffic from Pinterest and it is now (three weeks post-FinCon) my #1 referrer on most days!! It's unbelievable. I never knew how to use Pinterest, and I never even really understood it, before. I'm now working on going back over my site and improving the images to make them more appealing and pinnable. It's made a big difference already. I'm going to write a post about it as soon as I have been doing it longer and have more data.

I think if you can photo shop a great picture to go with your post, you'll get visits from Pinterest. Did any one try to check for pinterest traffic quality? Hope it's not like Reddit…

For me it's been Twitter. But I'm starting to (finally) feel like I 'get' Twitter and want to add focus to another – deciding between FB and Pinterest. Dee I'd be very interested to see your post too.

I used Pinterest yesterday to a opt-in page. Out of 80 visits to the page from Pinterest, I had 6 email subscribers double opt-in. A 7.5% conversion rate is pretty good I think!

Would you be willing to share the link to the pin you used?

Since I'm new to PF blogging, I'm curious about this too! I've been using Twitter and really like that – for both promoting my blog plus finding awesome posts from other bloggers. I'm definitely going to start using Pinterest for all my posts, too! Hopefully I will see some success with that.

Lately been to a lot of food blogs to get something that was perhaps missing in PF blogging world.
What i learnt is those folks, get most of their traffic from Pinterest. And thsoe traffic for them turns in to good leads, in terms of affiliate conversion. Most successful food bloggers create great images to go with their post.
Kind of images Robert used in his post. It was interesting learning.

The real answer is "whatever one you use the most". As long as you maintain an active presence and work to grow your following any of the big social sites can be a real good source of traffic for you. I get a lot from Twitter because that's the site I use the most. I post to Facebook and Pinterest but don't really work at being super active on either so they don't send me as much traffic. Just pick the one you like using the most and go for it!
