I am so in!

I went ahead and created a spread sheet

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArQSh-JI75YbdFN0a1E4Sm5idEtqOVItc3RzS2NrS3c&hl=en_US

Let me know if that doesn't work. THe first tab has all the groups, just like the swaps we can keep signing in with 15 in each group. As soon as the group hits 15 we close that group and move on to another. And we can keep adding individual details in "group" tabs. See the spread sheet and let me know what you think/if it will work.

Hi!  In another thread some of us were talking about forming mini "teams" to help boost our Alexa ranking and generate comments on our blogs. I think this could be especially helpful for us during the summer months when things seem to slow down.

I'm willing to get the ball rolling on this one.  Who would like to be on my team?  I'm looking for around 15 blogs total (to keep it manageable).  The only requirements are to:

a.) Visit each blog 5 x a week

b.) Leave 1 comment on each blog at least once per week

Anyone interested?  If you have other rules that have worked better for you in the past, please share.

If you are interested, reply here and we can generate a master list.

I'm in too.

I'd suggest word it "Leave AT LEAST 1 …. " – the more the better.

Also, some wording about following each other via RSS, Twitter and FB and trying to promote each other via social networking sites we see on each others sites (twitter, FB, stumbleupon, digg, tipd, reddit etc). With 15 people promoting via these sites the counts build up and ya never know, someone may get a big notice or a ton of visits.

I try to hit up certain letters on Crystal's Yakezie list – Maybe figure out who really wants / who really is helping each other, and make Crystal's list smaller (20 or so active Yakezie participants) and try to hit up 5 or 10 a week?

Great suggestions, everyone.  When we get our list I am going to make a page on my blog with "my team" and link to each site, as that should also hopefully get some of my visitors to check out the other sites, too.  (This will also make it easier for me to visit each site daily and not miss any!)

Would it be easier to make a google sheet we cal all access?  This set up means a hefty amt of clicks through to your site which may result in VERY high bounce rates (user clicks to page, then off again to visit a different site).

A Google spreadsheet would be great!  Do you know how to set this up?  (I don't… sad to say.)  I will still put a list on my site, though, to give everyone a little extra promotion.

The google sheet would be easy enough.  It would also give us all a change to post our different social network links for an easy follow procedure.  If the list is to be "closed" we would need everyone's contact email so they could all be included.

I'd like to be included, I think a team of 15 is ideal, we can keep those Alexa rankings low, and really help to promote some articles on through social networking.

Can we have the list be "open" like we do the blog swap lists so that people can use it to sign up?  And when we hit our number we can lock it?  Not sure how the whole Google spreadsheet thing works….

I created a slightly different sheet – just my data in it ATM.  Has links to social profiles and such (web sites too)

SPF, I moved your data to group1 of the spreadsheet. This way we have have more people signing up than just 15.

Great idea to combine the two lists.

Team 1 is almost half way filled.  This is very exciting.  Who else wants in?

Why two groups?  I thought this was one group?  I think Suba is just trying to avoid us ;) (me and Mrs. SPF)

No I just didn't want to cut everyone off beyond 15 :) If more people want to join they are welcome to join the group2 (or 3..4.. the more the merrier, we can always switch groups after a month or two of getting to know each other…). The group2 won't be filled until the group 1 is closed. I signed up with Broke Professionals for the first group, I just didn't want to put both my blogs in one group as that will be 1 less person visiting each blog (there is just one me).
