Also there are a couple of blogs with no Yakezie badges. Should I exclude them? This is afterall Yakezie teams right?

I think a friendly reminder that they have 24hrs to put the challenge badge on their site. Sometimes things are innocently forgotten. IMO.

Jai, I did a search. They didn't announce the Yakezie challenge or post in the forum. Hence the question…

There are over 70 sign ups so far. So I think it will be ~7 teams? Unless someone wants to do less members within each team?
I'm fine with 10 per team, or more. Thanks again for doing this, Suba.

If someone has by now no announcement post and no badge, I suggest not to include them in the teams. Could you expect any commitment to the team if the first steps are not done?
If there are not too many of them, and you have the time, and nothing better to do, of course you could give them a 24 hours notice. But I do not think that anybody should expect to get warned about this.

I say that if there is no badge, they should be excluded. I only want serious people participating.

Thanks, Suba. On the blogs without badges and announcement, it may be an idea to remind them the conditions as Jai suggested. Sometime people are 'serious'; they just don't figure out the rules or simply misunderstand.
And I am OK with roughly 10 people teams.

I am hoping we can leave teams at 7 members. The smaller number is more manageable and can help promote stronger relationships.

Are you saying they don't have the badge and no announcement? Suba I quote Oliver Wilde in The Importance Of Being Ernest
To lose one parent, Mr. Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune. To lose both looks like carelessness.

I would definitely give notice. In mid-December, someone pointed out that my Yakezie badge was not displaying. Somehow the html had reverted to a text link, and I had nothing to do with that at all. There was a change in the Amazon CDN account. It was suggested that I was not displaying the badge, and I was very upset because I didn't do anything to change the badge's display. Anyway, I was happy to be given the opportunity to rectify the situation. I definitely think we should afford people the benefit of doubt and allow them to display the badge if they want to. It really could be an honest mistake.

10 per team is about the max I'd want to deal with. As for the ones with no badge, I'd say, if they have the post up, then fine, give them a warning. If they don't have the badge or the post up, then leave em out, but maybe send an email saying they need to have that if they want to participate in Yakezie and Yakezie groups. Which sounds like a lot of work, I guess, so I leave it at your discretion.

I would prefer smaller teams, but will go with whatever you hand out.

I think this is a good idea. If they do get on the teams, we should also check to make sure they are actually participating there and remove them if not.

I will put the teams by the end of the day guys.
I excluded 2 that didn't have badge, post AND a username in Yakezie. Almost every post looked like a sponsored post. That never goes down well, I don't want people linking to these blogs. If you don't see as part of the teams and you are a challenger, please shoot me an email with your Yakezie username.
