It seems there's some loss of enthusiasm across many groups. I am drifting on Alexa too.

I try to visit everyone's site daily (or at least week daily), but I know I've been behind this week due to work stress, prepping the MIL for her surgery (happened yesterday) and the husband getting a major bout of food poisoning, so taking care of him as well as everything else. I am hoping to have a chance to sit down and comment on everyone's blogs tomorrow and also visit some of the non-group blogs I follow- which I've completely failed on so far this week.

Blogging is a marathon, not a sprint. Everyone has their ups and downs. Don't worry about it :)

New teams in November? I vote for smaller teams this time around. I think a lot have been saying that they've seen a drop off of participation and haven't been able to get around to the sites as much.

I would like to be included in the group in November. Please let me know if I need to do anything.

My only concern about making a change in November is the fact that many people will be travelling for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and perhaps work (especially those of us in Accounting). It may be better to just push ahead with the current teams until January.
If we decide to switch in November, I'd still be interested, though.

I think changing sooner rather than later would be good then. I think the current groups may have too many blogs to maintain through this busy season and there are more blogs that want to join.

I'd prefer switching teams in november as well – and changing again in january, that way people wont be totally left out in the cold if they dont feel like they'll be able to participate effectively during november and december due to travel.
I would also like to second the notion of smaller teams – perhaps somewhere between 7 and 10? I really love this idea and have great successes with teams i've been on, but I think i've got like 20 team members this time around – it's just too much to keep up.
That all being said, count me in for november!

Last set of teams had 11-12 members :)
I thought everyone didn't want another team before the holidays because it will be too busy for connecting with new teams when everyone knows that they won't be putting the full effort? I am fine either way.
IF we don't do a Nov team, I counted in the last few pages there are enough new members to form a new group. If everyone is up for Nov team, I will activate the form again.

I am good for whatever is decided. I like the teams and they have been really helpful. I will definitely participate if we do another round.

Just remember that smaller teams will result in less Alexa hits to your site assuming that everybody is using the toolbar properly. That's the only downside I see to the smaller groups. But if it encourages more participation, I'm for it.

I personally don't have a preference as to when an change will occur. It seems that in my line of business, there is always some sort of deadline or emergency, so the timing really doesn't mean anything for me.
I think I would have to agree with the smaller groups too. It's pretty difficult to keep up with larger circles while still supporting the others that we may not have been placed with (or is it just me). I really don't worry about the Alexa implication anymore; I'm more interested in being able to connect with people, expand my reach, and build relationships.

I'm up for switching teams in November or whenever. I think that blogs who don't participate with the weekly comments should be dropped from the team. It really takes just a few minutes each day to visit each blog on your team. My feeling is that if you don't have 3-5 minutes to spare each day + the amount of time it takes you to comment weekly on the blogs, you probably should not join the next group. (You should also let your teammates know you can no longer participate if things change once you've joined.)

I'm okay with starting new teams in November (although I enjoy my team and have made great friendships – Go Team 1!).
It seems to me like there is at least a general consensus to start new teams in November. If anyone is strongly against it, feel free to "speak" up. Otherwise, I think Suba can go ahead and set up the process again (MANY THANKS TO SUBA!).
I agree that some should consider their ability to fully participate before signing up. I'm up for any size of teams. I regularly visit a lot of blogs anyway.
