I think the plan is to do this in September. Mixing up the groups will not only help everyone get to know other bloggers but it should help with traffic etc too.

You have to add all of your information to the "group 4" page, here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArQSh-JI75YbdFN0a1E4Sm5idEtqOVItc3RzS2NrS3c&hl=en_US#gid=4

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

The Facebook Comments plugin was causing some issues.  I have deactivated it.

Please try it out and let me know.

Thanks again.

Welcome to all the new Group 4 members. I'm adding you to my follow list and should get everyone's blogs linked to on mine tonight.

Everything Finance- I have a question. Maybe I'm just missing it, but I really can't figure out how to comment on any of your posts. I can stumble upon, reddit, etc, but I don't see a comment button…. Am I just missing something?

Thanks

I just joined team 4.  Slot 8 was left empty so I took it. Hope that was ok.  I have subscribed to everyone's RSS that I wasn't already subscribed to and left a comment on every blog.  Also liked the Facebook pages I was able to like.  I will be creating a Facebook page for Tight Fisted Miser later today.  I've been using my personal Facebook but want to separate the two.

I have my Facebook page up now.  I liked everyone with my personal and blog page account but I don't think the blog page likes counted.  I'd appreciate likes so I can get my custom URL.  Like me and I'll like you back.

Question… for those who have created a Facebook page for their website, which category did you select when you created it? The only one that makes the most sense to me is under "Brand or Product -> Website", but I see many pages that actually show a category heading like "Business/Economy" instead of the generic "Website"…

I used brand or product->website. That made the most sense to me but I don't know if it makes too much difference which category you choose.

I think I used brand or product. Seemed to be the most fitting.

I am so in!

I went ahead and created a spread sheet

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArQSh-JI75YbdFN0a1E4Sm5idEtqOVItc3RzS2NrS3c&hl=en_US

Let me know if that doesn't work. THe first tab has all the groups, just like the swaps we can keep signing in with 15 in each group. As soon as the group hits 15 we close that group and move on to another. And we can keep adding individual details in "group" tabs. See the spread sheet and let me know what you think/if it will work.

I'm totally in as well. Look forward to it!

I think September sounds like a great time to shake up the Teams and do a Fall Team – September through November.  Can someone who knows how to do Google docs (Suba?) set up a new sign up form for this purpose?

Thanks to everyone who has helped to make the Summer Teams a success.  And don't forget, there are still two more weeks in this cycle so be sure to keep visiting your team mates!

Are we switching the groups around on Sept. 1?  Not that I don't love my group of course, I just don't want to miss the sign up for new groups and be left out in the cold chilly.

Yes, we could switch around Sept 1st. We could create a new sheet and let people sign up or I could put a note around Aug last week and we will take sign ups until Sept 9th (to account for the labor day vacations). Then pool all the groups together and randomize into 4 groups? That would really shuffle the groups. If we let people sign up again for groups, folks who signed up early in the first round might still sign up early which means, not much shuffling around.

If everyone is fine with the pooling and shuffling idea (I will just manually move people with multiple blogs – me, Melissa, Khaleef… to avoid both blogs getting into the same group) I will alert everyone Aug last week to sign up if they are not already in the first round?

I think this is a great plan. Keeps everything fair and square while mixing it up. Thanks Suba for taking the lead on this.
