I like the random shuffle idea. Can't wait to see what group I'm in next! This has really boosted my Alexa ranking. Laugh

Me too – shuffle away! I've loved the groups – I know all of us have had moments where we aren't able to visit/comment as much as we'd like, but the power of the 14+ other bloggers makes it work out very nicely!

I have organized my groups into different folders in the bookmark and have them on my bookmark toolbar. So I just have to right click and say open all. This I use mostly every morning & evening even if I don't comment at that time, it will help with alexa…

Suba, I just want to say thanks for sharing that! This method has saved me a bunch of time and I've applied it to other groups I'm in as well. Too cool and so simple. Who knew?

Go to the pinned post on page 1 and access the spreadsheet. Add your info to the newest group, then go to the tab at the bottom for that group to enter the rest of your specific info. Then visit everyone's site from your group and comment per the guidelines on the first post of this thread. Easy peasy.

I'm not sure when the shuffling will take place but you'll be moved to a different group at that point.

Just sign up on the sheet using the link on page one of this thread. Then start visiting the sites in your group and commenting etc. I think there is room in group 5 if I am not mistaken.

I would love to be shuffled as well – it will help me get to know more of you.  I think it would also be a good idea to re-state expectations after the shuffle.  I have a feeling there may be some differences between groups.

Yes, we could switch around Sept 1st. We could create a new sheet and let people sign up or I could put a note around Aug last week and we will take sign ups until Sept 9th (to account for the labor day vacations). Then pool all the groups together and randomize into 4 groups? That would really shuffle the groups. If we let people sign up again for groups, folks who signed up early in the first round might still sign up early which means, not much shuffling around.

If everyone is fine with the pooling and shuffling idea (I will just manually move people with multiple blogs – me, Melissa, Khaleef… to avoid both blogs getting into the same group) I will alert everyone Aug last week to sign up if they are not already in the first round?

I'm all for shuffling, but can we create a new post for each time the groups are changed? This 'who wants to be on my team' thread is becoming a monster! :)

Maybe 'September Yakezie Groups' or 'Yakezie Small Group for Fall', kind of how we sign up for each new blog swap and carnival?

Good idea, FamilyMoneyValues.  I have actually gotten to know quite a few of our fellow bloggers through this experience, much more so than I had expected.  I highly encourage anyone who is on the fence about joining in to try it out.

A agree Marie. It seems like some haven't been doing their part- or at least not what others have expected.

Will start a new thread on Monday/Tuesday and let it run through until Sept 7th (to allow people who take vacation around the long weekend to sign up).

Has a new thread started for the Fall? I added my name to group 5 and have been visiting/commenting on my group members' site until I see a change. I love this idea and look forward to the fall groups! I just want to make sure I didn't miss something.
