It took me almost a year to build anything related to traffic. It was a long haul and I almost gave up but in the end it worked out ok.

That's hard to believe. You have a great site! I'm glad you stuck it out!

Just checked – 20.8 is the number and it is not in month one (I didn't have Goodle Analytics then). However, I am trying to stay away from this – gets me too worked up. Alexa is a different matter since your positioning depends on what everyone else is doing and this makes it a bit easier to accept (and tahnks to the good people on here, including you, my ranking has been improving at a great speed).

thaT'S A pretty good number. My first days and months had many single digit visitor days, and it was probably just me and my mom!

I started my blog mid-July 2009 and didn't install Google Analytics until September. By then I was averaging 20 visitors a day. Probably my first month was 1-10 visitors a day.
I knew nada about blogging and have come a very long way.

I might have had 4-5 visitors on my first month if I discount my (and my husband's) visit. So you are doing fabulous!!

When your blog was one month old, what was your traffic like? Would you be willing to share?
On average I get about 50 unique visitors a day. This seems to be a magical number for my blog right now. It doesn't go any higher than that.
All I can say is that is way higher than mine was at that time!

Thanks. Believe me I had my moments of wanting to quit. It wasn't easy.

I didn't install Analytics until my 2nd month – I had 314 unique visitors that month. The reason it was that many was because I write a ton of tax articles (I'm a preparer), and my 2nd month was February 2010.

My current pf blogs both had a leg up because I had existing readers, so I won't count those. My original, anonymous pf blog got about 1 reader a day the first month. And boy was I excited about that 1 reader! Even if sometimes it was me ;)
