Writing Contest- How would you run it? | Bloggers Lair | Yakezie Forums

So we have been thinking about starting up a monthly writing contest at M&P. We would either choose the topic and have entrants write on that topic, or do a general submit your best financial article. The winner(s) would get some sort of prize, most likely and amazon gift card, and everyone would at least get their articles featured as long as it met our submission/quality guidelines. The part we are having some internal debate about is how to choose a winner. Should we pick the winner based on what we think the best article is, or should we let readers decided by having a way to vote on their favorite ones.

That's right. Why are you hosting the challenge? Do you want free content? Reader interaction?

There's no best way to decide a winner. I've held many giveaways. You will always hurt feelings.
