Howdy folks! In two weeks from Friday, on April 8th, the fifth Yakezie blog swap will go live!
If
you're interested in signing up, click on the link below and fill in
your name, blog name, url, Alexa traffic rank, and email address. Last time we paired up blogs based on Alexa rankings. To make sure we don't have the same people swapping this time, we will go back to a randomized swap. Sign up deadline is next Friday, April 1st.
I
think everyone who has participated in past swaps will agree that it is
1) a great way to bond with fellow bloggers and 2) get some awesome
traffic from an interesting post.
The topic for this blog swap will be - What Motivates You to be Financially Responsible? Do you want to provide for your family? Did you grow up in a family without money and vow to change that for yourself as an adult? Do you just wanna be filthy stinkin' rich so you can buy cars and boats? We're all living our lives a certain way and blogging for a reason; what's yours?

Thank you to Jacob at My Personal Finance Journey for hosting the last swap; I only hope I can run it as smoothly as he did. You can view all of the posts that went up at the link below.

Does anyone know how to edit posts? That first post came out funny looking with some weird line breaks and I don't see an edit button. I'm sure I'm overlooking it; can someone point me in the right direction.

It may go away after a reply or after some amount of time.

Let me just say now that one of my major motivations is what the word of God has to say about the subject. Some people may not want a post on their site that talks about the bible, so I just wanted to put that out there now – so no one is put in an uncomfortable situation later.

Well, if you get paired up with someone that doesn't want your post, because you talk about religion, you let me know. I'll post it.

I was gonna say the same thing. Especially with the subject we are working with here, I think you have to expect some really personal stories that could involve religion, love, politics, or all three. That's what will make it so interesting.
