I was going to sign up, but since I'm a new blogger, my Alexa rating is 7M. I don't think anyone would match with me.
Oh well, maybe next time!

I'd be happy to swap with you. The whole point of this is to expose Yakezie members to new readers. I can tell you from experience, you want to take as many blog swapping and guest posting opportunities as you can get when you're new.
You still have until the end of the day to sing up :)

Is there a min/max word limit?
And when is the date we actually swap?
Sorry my first one as well.

I don't recall there being a min/max word limit. I would try and keep it to 350 or so minimum, and usually less than 2500, but, like I said, I don't remember there being a rule about that. And, I'm not even remotely close to an admin for this so please don't take my word for it.
The date for this swap is the 8th, so you'll need to have your post to your partner on the 7th (earlier the better) so that they can get them ready to post on the 8th.
Welcome to the group!

I definitely agree with Kevin. I would be honored to guest post on your site with a blog swap. Alexa ranking doesn't matter!

The signup deadline has passed and everyone is paired up. Check the file to see your partner. I also sent out an email to the email listed in the spreadsheet. Please let me know if you didn't get the email.

I've seen these on a couple of Yakezie sites and wondered what it was all about. I'll keep an eye out for the next one!

Wisley, if you want to do a mini one with me, let me know.
If the both of you want to pair up for this one on Friday, you can get involved in this one. I'm not a real stickler on deadlines. :)

Seems like a good idea! So how does it work? We write the post, exchange it, and schedule it to go live on Friday?

I'll post the instructions I emailed out here. They are a bit long, but it will give you all the information you need.
Howdy Folks,
The blog swap sign-up deadline has passed and we have twenty great Yakezie members and challengers signed up for this one. The blog swaps will happen on Friday, April 8th. There are a few things you need to do before this swap goes live, so please pay attention.
1. Find your partner. They have been randomly assigned. Just click this link and find your partner in the table starting in row 28. (Make sure you are on the Blog Swap #5 Sign Up tab)
2. Contact your blog swap partner as soon as possible and tell him or her what you plan to write about. Remember the topic is "What Motivates You to be Financially Responsible?" This is a very personal topic and it is possible that someone may be planning to write about religion, politics, or something else that may be "controversial". If your partner is planning to write something you are not comfortable posting on your site, please contact me immediately. If we have a situation where people are uncomfortable, we will just trade partners, but the sooner I know about potential issues, the easier it will be to fix them. If I haven't heard from you by end of day Monday, April 4th, I will assume you and your partner are compatible.
3. Have your blog written and sent to your partner as soon as possible. Your partner will probably want to read through your post and make some edits, so it is common courtesy to give them at least 24 hours to do so. I strongly recommend having the post sent to your partner no later than Wednesday evening.
4. Send me the link and title of each article so I can include in a roundup on Friday. I would appreciate if just one person in each pair can send me the link and title's to both blog posts. It will be easier for me to dig through 10 emails with no repeats. The roundup will go live at 9:00 am Eastern Time, so make sure your post goes live before then so we don't have any broken links. The roundup will go live at the following link: http://www.thousandaire.com/bl…..-round-up/ If you want to throw a link in your post to the roundup, that would be great.
5. Have Fun! This is a great way to meet fellow Yakezie folks and hopefully learn about some new people and blogs. I know we all love comments and visits, so I encourage you to go to the roundup on Friday and read and comment on as many posts as possible. If your site is like mine, Friday is usually the lowest traffic day of the week. Let's help each other out and engage in other blog swapper's posts this Friday!
Please contact me with any questions or things I may have missed, and thanks for participating!
A Few Tips:
- Make sure you coordinate with your partner the time your posts will go live. You should be linking to your partner's site, and If the posts are published at different times, one of you will have a broken link. 9:00 am Eastern is ideal because it coincides with the posting of the roundup and we will have a trio of working links all going live at 9:00 am.
- If you haven't done so already, you may want to create a user called "Guest" on your site. That way, you can assign guest posts to that guest author.
