Today I broke the 200k barrier and am proud to have an Alexa rank of 199,221
I had an Alexa rank of 18,500,000 at the beginning of September
A rank of 3,500,000 when I accepted the challenge on the 9th September
Thanks everyone for all your support.
My challenge now is to try to break the 100k barrier.
I cant imagine that will be easy

Congrats! Sounds like I'm right on your pace. 215,000 currently, around 3 million when I installed the Alexa toolbar a month or so ago. Just started blogging Sept 11 2013, so I'm feeling pretty good since I'm about to break 200k within 2 months of commencing blogging.

That's very good, congrats on the quick work! And yes, the next 100,000 will take you a bit, but it's not impossible if you keep publishing good content. Good luck on the next goal!

to be brutally honest – the Alexa ranking is a very poor indicator of traffic.
I bust the 200k barrier on the ww.getrichwithme.com without getting what i consider to be a large volume of traffic.
Alexa looks at how many other alexa badge users visit sites as the determination for its metric. All of us Yakazie/PF bloggers have the alexa button on our sites – which results in an inflated alexa ranking with all of us encouraging each other to visit and comment on each others blogs.
I also run a site for a fishing club – the fishing club site gets 5 times more traffic than http://www.getrichwithme.com but only has an alexa ranking of 4,500,000 – speaks volumes
Maybe page and domain authority are better indicators?
