First and foremost, congratulations! It is very exciting when the same post is being picked up not once but twice. Well-written post, by the way. Hungover posts are usually my best (just kidding!) Again – congrats, and enjoy the ride.

Those SimpleDollar links can lead to some pretty serious traffic.  I've had articles get thousands of page views in a day when linked by Trent – and you never know what post is gonna catch the eye of the popular sites. Great job!

The Simple Dollar is a great mention.  I still get traffic from a mention a while back.  Wisebread ain't too shabby either.

So the lesson is to write when hungover?  I knew I was doing something wrong!

I couldn't agree more. Sometimes you get a feeling for what will go off, but sometimes you just never know what will hit a vein.
