I’d like to put together a post consisting of techniques
from personal finance bloggers on practical ways people can make money in a
tough economy.
For example, I’ve heard of one gypsy, i.e., unlicensed, cab
driver who can make $300 a day picking people up during hours and at certain
locations licensed cab drivers overlook. I’m not endorsing this method of
making money, I’m just pointing out one way one person saw an opportunity to
make money and took advantage it.
I’ve made over $1,000 a month renting my apartment on
Airbnb. I have a friend who sells software he created online. Another guy I
know rents a parking space in his back yard. One of my coworkers used to do hair on the weekend.
There are a ton of ways to make money, and I’d love it if
the Yakezie family could contribute their ideas to the blog post I'm working on.
Please email me your ideas on how to make money in a tough
economy at theycallmecheap@gmail.com
with the subject heading “Yakezie – Making Money”. No idea is too ridiculous. Well, almost.
I’m hoping I’ll receive enough responses to have a post up
by Monday, October 10, 2011. It'll likely take the format of this one here.
Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S. As awesome as it is to make money blogging, I’d like
to focus on strategies that can be implemented relatively quickly.
P.P.S. Ignore this request at your own peril. Many of you will be receiving a follow up email.
