A problem with RSS | Help Desk | Yakezie Forums

Hey everyone!

For some reason, if I click subscribe on my blog, it says I only have 9 subscribers. But when I open up my google reader, it says I am subscribed to my blog 3 times, and each subscription comes from a different link and has a different amount of subscribers. One link has 9, one link has 217 and the other has 209.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm not sure where the different links are coming from.

The one on your button goes to http://feeds.feedburner.com/Ma…..nitionfork – that one leads to Feedburner all the same, but it's giving credit to Ignition Fork (whatever that is). You could edit your RSS button to make it go to the same link as your counter.

The "Subscribe to Posts (Atom)" link at the bottom of each page goes to http://www.makingsenseofcents……ts/default. It's also redirecting to Feedburner, but it's going through the default Blogger feed link. If you go into Settings > Other on your Blogger dashboard, you can set that feed URL to the first one I listed.

 

I hope all that makes sense – they're all going to the same place, but it's treating them as three different branches of the same feed. Changing the links won't change anything for your existing subscribers – they'll still get updates as usual.
