I was using SEO Pressor to optimize my posts however I did have some some concerns with it so I am no longer using it.
I recently stumbled upon Scribe SEO plugin and am looking at this as an alternative.
Do you have a recommendation on a plugin to optimize posts for SEO?

I use Scribe and it's really helped me optimize my posts. My search engine traffic went from 22% to 35% quickly after implementing. If you do use it, please sign up through one of the Yakezie members affiliate links. Mine is here:

Just switched over to Wordpress SEO a few weeks ago. I've had better results using it than my previous plugin. So far I've gotten several posts on the first page search for those keyword terms. The only downside is doing the keyword work yourself. But for me, it's a good exercise in learning the whole process.
It comes with some additional features that allowed me to drop 3 other plugins.

I use Scribe, and I think it's wonderful for optimizing your posts. It won't help you to develop your post (since it evaluates what you have already written), but it will help you to better organize your post for SEO.
Since I use the Thesis theme, I no longer need a separate SEO plugin.

When in doubt, see what Yoast has.

All in One is good. Its not like Scribe, but covers what you need.

All in One is what I have and it works good. Especially because I am not technically or SEO savvy.

Has anyone tried GoDaddy Search Engine Visibility? I was wondering how this compares to the free plugins mentioned in this thread.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I am currently using SEO Ultimate to optimize my site however my question was about a plugin for post SEO. SEO Pressor analyzed my posts for keyword density, H1,H2,H3 title tags, meta keyword tags, keywords in first and last sentence, alt tag on image, internal links, etc. and gave the post a score out of 100%. I deactivated plugin because I was having some issues with it. I am most interested in keyword density on my posts which is not currently available with SEO Ultimate.
Let me ask the question again differently:
What plug-in do you use that analyzes your posts for SEO and provides stats like keyword density?

I actually don't use something like this but I would be interested to learn more. Thanks for asking the question.

That is exactly what I use Scribe for. It scores your post based on your placement of the keyword (as you mentioned above with SEO Pressor), including keyword density. What I also like is that it will also scan your post and tell you what your "secondary" keywords are, and what you can do to make them primary!

Thanks Khaleef. Looks like it is between SEO Pressor and Scribe.
