Hey guys,

I have a direct advertiser who is interested in doing a CPA or Revenue Share advertisement on our site. We have yet to price any of these, so I was wondering if any of you have experience with these. The advertiser is asking for our charges, and I have no idea what to tell him. Please email me at greg (at) clubthrifty (dot) com if you can help us out.

Sincerely,

Greg @ ClubThrifty

Hey Greg,

I have the same question.  I just got an advertiser that wants to do a CPA model.  I don't usually price these out because most advertisers already have this setup based on what they are paid.  I think I am going to go back to the advertiser and ask them what their average rate is.  I don't have any way to gauge what they are paid for each action.

Could be the same advertiserLaugh I've asked him and he has come back at me with the old, "What are you looking to earn?" question. So, any help would be appreciated!

See if you can find similar products in other affiliate companies to gauge what their commission payout is.

Thanks Glen. I think that is going to have to be what I do.

I would see if they have a relationship with an existing reputable company (like CJ) to work through.

That is actually a good idea. I will ask.
