Do I still qualify for the challenge?

I have no doubt that I will reach under 200k in Alexa ranking in the next few months, but I've definitely been a "challenger" for more than 6 months now. Am I disqualified? Do I need to re-announce my entry? How does that work?

I thought the six month thing was a minimum, to weed out those that don't want to stick it for the longer haul. I would ask Sam about it.

No need to re-announce your entry Kellen, you're disqualified. You jumped off the block before the whistle blew.

Thanks for the advice guys. I emailed Sam, his response:

"Hi Kellen,

6 months is the minimum.  You can of course keep on trying to break 200K even if it takes longer!

Cheers, Sam"

So, phew, good, still in :)!

Kellen,

On a side note, I've noticed strange things with your RSS feed.  Most of your posts show up at least three times in my Google Reader list.  Only one of the three ever contains the actual post and the other two are blank within the feed.  I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing a couple of times with the same results.  I subscribe to a ton of blogs and yours is the only one I've noticed this with.  Might want to take a look into it as it's a little goofy, or let me know if it's just me?

Cheers.

Thanks for the note. That may be another thing I need to ask about in the help forums. I posted about it in the feedburner help forums with no results.

It took me far longer than 6 months to break 200k (like 1.5 yrs) and I'm glad you're a challenger!

Me too. It took me quite a while, i think more like 10-11 months. Just keep up the hard work. It will happen eventually.
