I'm seeing a bunch of fishy referrals in GA today.

Have you guys seen anything like this? The last time I saw something like this was when I had a malware attack. I checked and don't see any malware issue at the moment. I reinstalled wordpress from scratch and I really don't want to do that again.

You can see the bounce rate (last column) is pretty much 100%.

Strange. I checked mine to compare and I don't have anything fishy like that. Hope your site is ok.

Did you do any SEO backlinking thing (not sure what the right term is but I think there are people who submit your stuff for article directory things to build links?)

I don't pay for backlinking services or anything like that. There are only a few of those fishy referrals today so maybe some post just got cloned??? Anyway, I think it's a good idea to keep an eye on the referrals. When I had the malware issue, I got like 600 referrals from various porn sites….

I have been getting spammed to death from spammy backlinks, but I have not seen anything like that in my google analytics.

Let us know if you find anything out.

Good luck getting this thing figured out. There is always something. I just got rid of malware and hacking on my site by blogcrafted!! It took quite awhile to figure out I was even hacked!!! Fortunately, Flexo, of Consumerism Commentary and Krantcents informed me!!!
