Does anyone know how I can see who has clicked the Google +1 button on a page on our site?

I don't think it is visible unless you are in their circle.

I think you can under Webmaster Tools -> +1 Metrics.  Also, if you Google your site, it will show who has under the search result.

Thanks TCI

When I search I see me, Miss T and "8 other people" +1'd the site.  However, my counter on my home page shows 23 +1s.

In webmaster tools I don't see WHO has clicked – am I missing something?

I can see me, John Udo (it shows RB40's avatar), Sustainable Personal finance and "4 other people" +1'ed this site (for your site). For mine, it doesn't show anything. I in WMT, it shows the # of clicks by day but doesn't show who clicked it.

I will go with Latisha. If someone from your circle did a +1 you'd see that every where (search result, on focus and WMT) Also if someone has connected with you over gmail accounts, you'll see it too.

Another interesting thing, if you're logged on to google and search..if your search result has a +1 from a person in your circle/google contact list (you get a mail from gmail account to your gmail account, contact is added) that will show up at the top.

Bottom line, another SEO tip is mail from your gmail account to as many people as you can for some thing or other, and do +1 your own articles.  Every little bit helps..right?

I am not looking for promotion – I need a way to track who specifically clicks.  I wanted to use it as part of our 1 yr anniversary giveaway, however, like RSS reader subscribers, if I can't find a way to validate the follow I won't use it.

I've read some articles about how to use go between pages and google analytics and custom reporting but these things are beyond my skill/knowledge.

Oh well, if I can't find a solution by tmrw night those entry options are gonzo.

You can have your home page +1'd and a post page +1'd. They will show different numbers. Just to clarify that for you. Your home page will typically have the most.

As far as tracking I don't think you can see everyone. What Latisha said is the closest you can get.

For giveaway verification purpose, you can't find it. But at the end of your requirement list you can casually put +1 button click with 0 point.

You might get some occasional clicks there.
