Having Trouble with the Forum

I am having trouble with the forum. I am logged in and when I want to reply to a post it is showing my status as needing to log in and then it won't let me.  However, when I click on another post it shows me as being logged in and lets me reply.  Anyone experienced this problem?  How do I fix it?  Unfortunately, the Help Desk section is one that I can't post to.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Joe

Hey Joe! That happens to me from time to time. I think there are just some minor glitches in the forum system that come and go. Give it another couple of days, and I bet it will be working!

Yep, just some minor glitches. I had that for a while too. I think it might happen when you log in from multiple IP addresses as well.

I have had that before, but all I had to do most of the time is to just refresh, it will show me as logged in…

That happens about once a month for me. It actually happened earlier today, and this evening as well. It seems to work itself out after a couple of hours, though.

For me, sometimes I will login, but when I go to the forums, it shows me as logged off and I can only see the public forums.  Sometimes if I switch to a different browser (like Chrome) it will work.

What browser are you using? I have never had problems in Chrome. Also, try clearing your cache and trying again.

It worked itself through so I am all set.  I use Firefox but it also happened with IE.  I'll keep an eye out for it next time and then try it in Chrome.

Thanks
