Hi. It's been a long time since I've logged into Feedburner and either I totally forgot where everything is, or it's been updated since my last visit.
I remember there used to be a way to view and change the schedule of when the system searches for a new post, triggering when the RSS emails go out, but I can't find it and didn't have any luck in the Feedburner help section either.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? And anyone know what can cause delays between posting new content and when the RSS emails go out?

Go to the 'Publicize' tab, the Email Subscriptions link, then the Delivery Options link.
That will handle the e-mail portion. Not sure about anything with the RSS searching, I always thought that was fairly automatic.

I am interested in this as well as usually I am still slightly tinkering with a post an hour or two after publication. If there is a way to implement a slight delay for when RSS emails are dispersed, I would love to know about it.

Ah ok cool, I wasn't drilling down into the email area. Thanks I will check it out!

If you typically publish at the same time of day, the scheduling feature should help with this but if I remember correctly there's just time ranges to choose from for when the RSS emails go out, not the option to pick an exact time, so you may need to tinker with it.

It is a better practice to pre-write your posts and tinker behind the scenes. Always wait to hit publish until you are proud and happy with it.
