So yesterday I was on a writing roll and wrote a huge post. I guess because this post is too long, my RSS gives only a partial feed. Does anyone know how to edit my RSS feed so that it provides a full feed instead of a partial for long posts? I suspect I need to increase a file size somewhere, but I am clueless. Please help! I use Feedburner.

In Wordpress go to Settings > Reading and make sure full text is selected (looks like below)

For each article in a feed, show For each article in a feed, show

It does say full text. I don't do partial feeds as I don't like reading them myself. Till today I always had full feeds. Just today's post is presented in partial view. It has something to do with its length. Surprised

I've done posts that long without problems with my rss feed.  All I can suggest is double check your settings in both wordpress and feedburner.  Actually, looks like it's fixed now.  What was it in the end?

I figured it out. Apparently if something is not formatted correctly in the post, Feedburner would not validate the feed. I used Feed Medic (it is an option inside Feedburner) to determine what was not formatted. I fixed the formatting and it all back to normal. Smile

How interesting!  Something I probably never would have thought of.  Good job on figuring it out.  Thanks again for not going to the dark side (partial feeds)! LOL!
