Anyone got the name and contact details of someone who is reliable?
Thanks

What kind of work are you talking about? If it is truly minor, I'd be willing to help. If coding is involved, I'd use http://www.blogcrafted.com if no one from the Yakezie is available. They're fast and charge $40 an hour. Let us know what kind of help you need so we know if we can help personally. :-)

If it is something small, perhaps the group can help you through it on the forums, that way, others can come and refer back to this thread later if they have the same issue. I am pretty good with Wordpress as well, and can probably point you in the right direction.

Yakezie Webmaster.
If it's broke I will try to fix it. If you need help, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Thanks guys.
What I'm looking to do is widen the sidebar in my theme a bit and I wanted to make the header smaller. There is also an inbuilt RSS button in the header I want to get rid of.
Seems easy to me, but I'm just a humble accountant.

I know how to widen the sidebars and get rid of the RSS button in the Atahualpa theme on Wordpress. I could probably figure it out on other themes if I poke around. What theme do you use?

This is going to be a CSS modification, and from the looks of your code, I would estimate it about 30-45 minutes worth of work to make everything align properly. You have some room to expand the width of your site (which should accomodate a wider sidebar just fine) but you are going to need to change a bunch of width values in the CSS because they will not expand automatically. Also, if you widen the site, you will need to tweak the image in your header and cheat a bit to make it fit. Do you have someone that you could ask (a web designer or CSS guy) who could make the change?

Hey, it looks like you're using the Graphene Wordpress theme:
http://www.khairul-syahir.com/…..hene-theme
And according to their site, there should be a "theme options" tab somewhere in your wordpress admin area (or "site options" or "design options" or something along those lines). I'm not familiar with this theme specifically, but in Thesis it's pretty easy to just change numbers in the options and move the whole theme around without delving into the CSS itself.
Have you tried that yet?

It is better to get a professional like Chris before you start making changes to your stylesheet. You have to be sure that you have a copy of the original stylesheet's code somewhere. If not, you could waste hours correcting it.
