Hello,
Can somebody please let me know how to add an image to my member profile, the one that appears next to forum comments like this and below the member intro posts?
I login to the admin and go to my profile editor, but I don't see any way to upload a member profile image there.
I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but if anybody can help, please let me know.
Thank you, Max

Max,
After you login to the forums, click on the "profile" link next to "logout" and members link. This should work as well I think – http://yakezie.com/forums/profile
Then click on the select your Avatar tab and upload your pic.
HTH,
Suba

Hello Suba,
Thank you very much for the help. I kept looking in the WordPress Admin area, and didn't even notice the Forum account area.
I appreciate the help, thank you very much.

Hello again,
I guess there must be 2 areas to add the image, as I now have my image appearing in the forum section, but still can't get my image to show in the comments section for articles like member posts.
Oh well, it's probably something simple I'm just not seeing, but if anybody knows what that is, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you again for your help. Max

Max,
The image in the comments section (as far as I know) is association with your email and gravatar from gravatar.com So if you had one there that appears whenever you comment on the other sites, it works the same way. Atleast that is how it worked for me, I didn't upload a profile picture specifically for the user comments.

Hello Suba,
Thanks for the additional help. I see what you're saying, that image is not associated with Yakezie.com. I'm going to look into gravatar.com, thanks for the tip.

I have different Gravatar images set for each of my e-mails. It is a very useful site and it makes us all look more professional as bloggers.

Hey Max,
Can you add a signature with your website? Will make it easier for me to visit you. Thanks!

Hello Buck,
I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Like for these posts, my site name links to the Yakezie member profile page with my site info, just like yours does and everybody else it seems.
Do you mean for me to add my site URL to that signature somehow, I'm not sure how to do that?
Or are you referring to the signature that shows on article comments, as I do already link directly to my site URL within the comment signature?
I'm sorry, please let me know what you mean specifically, I'll be more than happy to accommodate if it's a better setup for me.
Thanks, Max

Hey Max, I think he means having a signature box at the bottom of your forum posts (like I have below).

Also make sure to set up a Gravatar for commenting around the web. http://en.gravatar.com/

Thank you Khaleef for clarifying that.
Alright, I updated my signature, hopefully it shows here and is working.

Wow, the really cool feature is that it retro-updated all of my old forum comments, so my signature now appears everywhere.
Cool, great suggestion Buck, thanks again.
