When I click browse in upload an avatar under edit member profile… nothing happens. No pop-up, no new screen… zilch. Any suggestions?

I couldn't change my avatar for 2 days when I joined. I uploaded a photo to Gravatar and it changed it for me.

Thanks, i think I had an old email in my gravatar profile… but I was also just able to upload a pic directly on the site here. Odd, may have been a browser glitch? Either way, it worked!

I'm having the same problem. I didn't sign up for gravatar until after signing up on yakezie. I tried uploading an image, but it didn't seem to upload. I assume it might be need to be approved by a moderator first. Or is there some way I can force it to check gravatar again?

Hmm, ok thanks. I'll have to try again at some point. The images are uploading each time, since I'm forced to rename the file each time I try again. Hopefully it periodically checks gravatar or just needs to wait in a queue. Where in Canada are you Andrea? BC here.

Complete opposite side, as east coast as it gets. It sill amazes me how large Canada is!

Yeah I definitely need to do a road trip all the way across the country some time. The furthest east in Canada I've been is Manitoba.
So does anyone know how to get the avatar working? I feel like my 'member' avatar might as well be a big L haha.

Success! Avatar is good to go. I followed the advice of just trying again later. I renamed my image and it happened to work this time. Thanks for the tip!

took me a while to figure it out, pretty frustrating, but then with Gravatar it was pretty simple
