Not a technical question but where do I advertise that I can help this community?

I put a page up on my blog: http://frugalportland.com/hire…..l-porland/ but I'm wondering if this isn't the right place for it? Do I list it there and have everyone who might hire me know all about my finances? Do I point people who don't know me as Frugal Portland to a different website? I would LOVE any advice. It would be amazing to help out this community, and I'd like people to know that's an option. My rate is $30/hr, do I say that on the page?

Does the page look like total crap?

Am I even asking this in the right space?

You left out the 't' in Portland on your Hire page and the title.

When offering your services it is always good to adapt your channel to your target market.

For those who visit Frugal Portland, it is good when they can see that they can hire  you and what you can offer.

Besides that, if I was you, I would also create a separate website/profile for your business and the services you offer.

On that site you can refer to Frugal Portland as one of the portfolio examples, but you do not have to make it explicit that it is you as well. Of course when people ask, there is not need to deny.

I would not put up all your price levels on the page. Personally I would avoid the hourly rate but put up some teaser tasks (this is what I will deliver and this is the costs) to get people interested to contact you.

Success.

Hi Frugal Portland,

One option you have is to place a Free Ad on a site that I run called Bloggers Classifieds.  I have several Yakezie Members who advertise their services there.

And as a Yakezie Member/Challenger I would like to offer you a free featured ad for 90 days.  Just use coupon code Yakezie and be sure to display the Yakezie badge on you homepage.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

I think it looks good as well. Maybe put the samples before the contact form?
