On various blogs I have seen anywhere from 1, 3, 5, 10 to tons of articles on the home page.

I am curious if there is an optimal number of articles on ones home page to keep the bounce rate % low.

As long as the page loads quickly, I don't think it matters, but I haven't seen any research on the best number of home page articles.

I don't think it matters either. I think the bounce rate is more affected by whether or not the reader finds the content that they are looking for.
