After Google stopped supporting their reader, I've been left in the lurch! I'm currently using Digg Reader… it is good, but not as good as the Google Reader. The updates aren't as frequent and somehow doesn't feel as 'smooth' as Google Reader.
Have you found a good replacement for Google Reader? What readers did you try and which one are your currently using?

I use The Old Reader, which is the closest appearance-wise to Google Reader, which makes sense because I believe it was essentially designed as such.
They did have a lot of issues following Google Reader's shutdown, as they were not able to handle the influx of users. There were a few rocky weeks while they moved their servers, acquired funding, and added capacity, but they got everything straightened out and it's been nothing but smooth sailing for the last few months.

I've stopped using RSS completely. Lately, I've been sticking to finding new posts on Twitter and Google+

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

I'm putting my blog on bloglovin' today after a lot of people recommended it to me. But I mainly use twitter to find new blog posts. My daily reading list from going through my newsfeed is about 20-30 articles long.

I'm one of the few who never used RSS prior to Google Reader going bust and still never ended up adopting anyone. Feedly and Old Reader seem to be the most popular by far though.

I've been very happy with Feedly. It was a little bit of an adjustment after losing Reader. I do find most posts now with Twitter followed by Facebook. I only keep a small list in Feedly.
