Somebody said in a recent thread that Contact Form 7 slows down your site quite a bit. I tried looking for that post but can't find it. Anybody have a recommendation for a good, customizable form that won't slow down my site? It's slow enough as it is.
I need to be able to customize it a little to fit the needs of my blog as well as the rest of the site (i.e. podcast questions, requests for speaking engagements, etc.)

Hi Matt.
I have only used Contact Form 7 and Formidible forms. I found Contact Form 7 to be better and haven't had any trouble with it slowing down any site that have used it on.
I can't really recommend any other forms though as I haven't tried any others. You can do quite a few things to increase the speed of your site, installing wp supercache helped with me and reducing he amount of php calls my theme made is a good start. This post can cover the basics

I am using Fast Secure Contact Form and it seems to work for me so far. I also have it protected with captcha.

This is what I use as well, after switching from Contact Form 7, when there was a glitch in the plugin. Before the glitch, I was pleased with it.
