Hi all,
Enjoying my new self-hosted site, but there is one blemish. After importing my old data into the new site, it has a 0 in the Archives section linking to my December posts. My guess is it's a bad record in my database. Any tips on how to modify my WordPress database? Speaking of which, how do you all backup your databases? Sorry for the technical questions. Can't we just blog?!?!
Thanks,
Buck

I use the Wordpress Database Backup too. I also backup my sites through Host Gator once a week. :-)

Hey Mark and Crystal,
Thanks, I was about to load up the plugin when I noticed on my hosting admin page, database backup. Doh!

Use them both like BITFS. I backup on Hostgator as well but the WP Database Backup saves some files that the hosting provider may not.

With the database plugin you can set it to email you a copy of your database every day. This way should something ever happen to your host you still have your database (assuming your email isn't tied to your host).

I'm now using it and schedule a weekly backup. Easy to use. Thanks again!

In case anyone is interested I fixed my one blemish! After importing my old posts apparently there was the Hello World first post. Digging into my database with phpAdmin, I saw it had a post date of 0. I deleted it and Viola!
