So I'm doing my normal routine of commenting this morning and I get this message on two separate blogs:
"You appear to be a spambot. Contact admin another way if you feel this message is in error"
Any idea what is causing this? Have I been hacked? I'm doing the same thing I always do and I make certain to check the box that I am human.

I wonder if it's related to the GASP updates recently? The first one was pushed through on Sunday which caused an error message very similar to this and they pushed a fix out to it yesterday. Now I see there's another one. I am starting to think it could be related to that possibly.

It's only on certain blogs. I've since left comments on a few other blogs without issue. I don't see what the common denominator is with the ones I get the message on.

Well, if it's update related, perhaps the ones you can't get through on are ones that haven't been fully updated?

I just got an email from someone saying they got the same message on my site. I was able to leave a test comment on it just fine, but I just did the update and deleted the cache as they directed. So, hopefully that fixes it.

It's 100% GASP related – a new update was pushed early this morning and it should have fixed this.

It did fix it as I've received a number of new comments on my site since updating, so you should be good to go after updating.

I've been getting a lot of spam comments the past couple weeks despite having GASP. It appears the spambots are getting smarter. I hope this fixes the spam comments as well.

Same here. I get about 60 or 70 that get through GASP daily now!
