Hello…

I am in the process of creating a website about making a comeback.  The site will focus on making a comeback in your career, relationships, finances, and life.  We will have a ton of content, interview people who have made some great comebacks in their lives, and offer resources.  Additionally, we would like to add a podcast and some courses.

Before I spend a lot of time and energy, I want to do a little research to see if this is a topic people will resonate with.

If you have time please answer just a few questions:

1)  Do you think this is a topic that resonates with people?  (making a comeback in life and how to make a comeback?)

2)  What would you like to see in a site like this?

3)  What are your initial thoughts on the subject?

4)  Any other comments, questions, opinions?

thanks in advance,

Travis

1.  I'd be interested in this type of site.

2.  I like how you included resources for people in your itinerary.  This may come from reading a lot of PF blogs, but I think sometimes people are afraid for some reason to put information out there that will help people work their way up.  We should try to do it ourselves, but we should also take advantage of all of the resources available to us (as long as we are doing so ethically.)  Finding these resources or even being aware of them can be a challenge for the people who need them.

3.  While I'm definitely interested in the money/career part of it, I'm curious to see the areas you cover in the relationships section.

4.  Nope.  Good luck!

1)  Do you think this is a topic that resonates with people?  yes. I especially think it will help people who are trying to help others pick themselves up. When we're really down, we just want to eat chocolate ice cream. We're not looking for podcasts. At least right away. But the people around us will be feeding us comeback stories.

2)  What would you like to see in a site like this? Triggers to motivation. The small wins that don't come with luck.

3)  What are your initial thoughts on the subject? I love this idea. People love feel good stories; they're the kind that spread by word of mouth.

1. It could be very interesting depending on how it's presented. Most people like comeback stories.

2. Posts could be about people going from living in their cars to being successful in their career. I think more people will actually be interested in relationship comebacks, such as "my wife hated me when we first met and this is why…"

3. I would be interested in reading people's comeback stories. I would think a first person perspective would be most entertaining. Perhaps something along the lines of the stories you might find in Reader's Digest.

4. I like that you have interviewed people. Again, I think a first person presentation would be most captivating.
