For the past two months, I've been trying to find the right house to buy as an investment property. Has anyone else been looking and having luck? How's the experience been? Unfortunately for me, I live in an area that is in really hot demand right now, so lots of bidding wars are taking place. No luck yet, as I've been outbid on about 4 properties now. I'm sharing the journey and providing updates on the blog.
Right now, I'm thinking about just perhaps sitting on the sidelines again, until a better time/opportunity emerges.Yell

We are having a home built and will be renting out our current home.  We probably are not getting the best deal ever on our new home, but we'll be making more than double in rent for our current home than its mortgage.  I am also documenting the whole having-a-home built series on my site.  Good luck!
